MISSIO DEI
WHAT WE BELIEVE
SCROLL DOWN

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, man and God, born of the virgin, without sin and perfect, the only Savior. We believe that He bore the guilt of our sins in His body on the cross, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and now stands at the right hand of God, interceding for us. We believe in the return of the Lord Jesus in power and glory. (Hebrews 1: 8; John 19:28; Col. 1:15; Luke 1:35; Matthew 1:18; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Cor. 15: 3-8; Acts 1 : 9-11; Romans 8:34).

We believe that salvation is a gift from God sovereignly given, by grace, to all who repent and put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. All who trust in Him are born again by the Holy Spirit and are therefore saved on the basis of the blood shed by Jesus on the cross. (Ephesians 2: 8; 1: 7; Acts 3:19; 1 Peter 1: 3; 1 John 3: 1).

We believe in God the Holy Spirit, who glorifies Jesus, convinces people of sin, and dwells in every Christian by bringing conviction, enlightenment, sanctification, power, and guidance in life and work. (John 15:26; 16: 8-11; 3: 5; 14:17; Acts 13: 1-4; 1 Cor. 12: 4-6; 2 Tim. 1: 7; Ephesians 5:18).

We believe that the Holy Scriptures, both the New Testament and the Old Testament, are inspired by the Holy Spirit, without any error in the original manuscripts, infallible, and that they represent the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. (Ps. 119: 16; 2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Pet. 1:21).

We believe in one true God, unchangeable, Creator of all things, existing eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Malachi 3: 6; Rev. 4: 8; Col. 1:17; 2 Cor. 13:14).

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but because of Adam's sin, he was separated from God, acquired a sinful nature, and received the sentence of death. As a result, man is lost without any chance of salvation from the wrath of God. He can only be saved by faith in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.                                  (Gen.:127; Eph. 2: 1; Rom. 3:23; 1 Cor. 15: 20-23).

We believe in the true Church of Jesus composed of people who, through their saving faith in Jesus, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Together they form the Body of Jesus, and He is the Head.

Christ commanded the Church to make disciples of all nations by going into all the world, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to keep all that He had commanded them. Water baptism and the Lord's Supper are practices of the Church, which are not the way one is saved. (Matt. 28:19; Acts 2:42; Colossians 1:18; 1 Cor. 11: 23-26).

We believe in the resurrection in the flesh of all people, either saved or unsaved; those who are saved are resurrected to eternal life with God, and the unsaved are resurrected to the punishment of eternal separation from God. (John 5: 22-29; Ps. 16:11; Revelation 20: 12-15).

We believe in the personal, visible, imminent and triumphant return of Christ. This is the blessed hope of the Christian, and it is a vital truth that produces in the believer a holy life and faithful service (Hebrews 10:37; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; Revelation 1: 7; 1 John 3: 1). 3).
